My initial steps were to meet with the consumer and interview them about their conflict, and what would help them effectively. My consumer is a single mom that during the day she does the house duties, and in the afternoons she works a part time job and does not get home until midnight. Everyday when she gets home from work, she feels really exhausted and stressed out; so she asked me to do a product that'll help her and others experiencing a similar conflict as her.

I created a mind map in which I listed the characteristics of the product. Some of these characteristics are reliable, good performance, portable, does not take much space, right material, and slight, gentle movement. After my mind map was all set and I had a solid idea of how my product would look like, I began my sketches. I had two possible structures in mind. The first one was a flat "panel," almost like a patch. Yet, I believed it was too simple and would not have an effective solution. The second one was the hand structure, and for me it seemed more productive; so I chose to use the hand structure for my product.

One of my final steps before creating the board was to make a storyboard . A storyboard, is a short sequence of events with dialogue include that advertises a product. Mine was composed of five different scenarios, from left to right. The first one visualizes my consumer complaining about her day and stress. Second, a lady contacts her and offers her to use their new product since she seems to be in need of a massage. Third, is simply a visual illustration of the product. Fourth, my consumer accepts the offer and takes it to use. Finally, the last box shows us how she tried it, got in love with it, and kept it to help her in stressful situations.

A program similar to Photoshop named Photopea was really useful and was the one that I used to create the design of my board. It took me multiple times to understand how to use it properly, but once I understood, it was pretty easy. After I finished it, I print it off and cut some extra paper around the border of the paper in order to fit and placed it on the cardboard using some kind of "spray glue," shown in the second picture.
